On Feb. 24 -- Wednesday -- the Student Fees Committee will decide whether to raise our student services fees for the renovation of Coffman Union. Do you know that Coffman Union will be closed for two full years while this renovation takes place? Did you know that you will pay for the renovation no matter if you graduate before its completion or if you live in St. Paul?
I ask that you, your friends and all students opposed to the renovation of Coffman Union to go to: www.umn.edu/~hans0967/NoRenovation. You will find information on what YOU can do to make your opinion known. Please, don't just go to this Web site, tell at least five people you know to go. If good students do nothing, we will lose our student union and pay $50 million dollars for what we know not.
